"The therapy Amanda provides and the self-treatment dramatically reduced my pain. It has also instilled in me a sense of empowerment that has proven to be a significant part of my healing process."
- Lorraine, Landing NJ
It is my primary goal to help every person I work with find relief from their physical pain and find empowerment in relearning how to use their bodies as they do the things they love each day. The healing process that unfolds allows them to regain freedom and function, creating permanent change and lasting relief from pain.
My own healing education began at the University of Scranton where I received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2002. Since that time I have sought to constantly evolve as a therapist, working and seeking continuing education in the mental health, physical disabilities and pediatrics arenas.
In 2007, I was introduced to PUSH Therapy because of a repetitive stress knee injury I experienced while training for a triathlon. I recovered so quickly and was so amazed at how revolutionary this therapy was that I began training to become a PUSH Therapist, completing my certification in 2008. Now, as an OT and Certified PUSH Therapist™, I am blessed to work one on one with each of my clients to tailor an individualized treatment plan that is specific to their goals, passions and daily activities. I strongly believe that a person does not have to lose mobility and independence as they age or because of an injury. In my own life, I continually strive to grow in mind, body and spirit and that is the journey I offer to the beautiful people who walk through my door.
